Fast on time, but doesnt have a dim capability

I really like this app and the simplicity of the flashlight screen. The only change I would make is that there should be a way to lower the brightness of the flashlight. The light is very bright, which is convenient when I need super bright, but an annoyance when I would like to turn down the light a little to not totally blind myself. Other flashlight apps have this feature, and it was very convenient, but I always hit the add on the screen with my hand, so I switched to this app.

Use to light up walking path in the dark, reading the menu at dim lit restaurants and searching for items in the dark when everyone is sleeping and I dont want to turn on the lights.

I have used this app for many years. Its followed me to each new iPhone and faithfully allowed me to put a little light on the subject when I needed it. Sadly, it has stopped working and now crashes every time I try to open it. Ive deleted/reinstalled, hard booted my phone, and cursed at it, all to no avail. Any ideas from the developer?
